my story

Processes Used

I started printmaking in 2016 as part of my undergraduate degree. As the first person to graduate with a BFA in Printmaking from the University of Indianapolis, I also helped build what would become Hullaballoo Press. I fell in love with the process of carving and printing and decided to dedicate my life to it in 2024.
I currently operate out of a home studio under the shop name Grave Bits.

Most of my work is relief carvings on unmounted linoleum. I also have experience in letterpress, silkscreen, cyanotypes, and various monotype processes.
My textile work is hand dyed using RIT dyes and sewn completely by me. All wearable textiles are machine washable.

My work is all completely original. Sketched, designed, sewn and printed by me.
  • Relief printmaking is when the printing surface is carved away so ensure that only your image is transferred. Common surfaces include rubber, linoleum, and wood. My work is done almost entirely on linoleum.

  • I use Pfeil hand carving tool and a 12×18” etching press to create my work. Some larger pieces such as the bandanas are hand printed.
